The Perfect Match

It all started around Febuar of 2004.  One of my friends Paul, who lived in Fresno CA, came to visit me in Sad Diego.  He was there for a wedding.  He told me that he had met my future wife.  Normaly when someone bost of such things I am inclined to brush it off.  But the reason he was visiting for a wedding was because he had set the happy couple up on a date. Paul was becoming known as a matchmaker and this was his 5th couple he had introduced.  So I had to ask myself could I be number 6???  He convinced me to come up with him to Fresno and go to our churches anual South Lake Taohe spring break retreet (we have a sister church in San Diego) Well it didn;t take long for me to become inamored,  I decided to move up to Fresno that June.  After I gave her a 6 foot long list of reasons to date me, we were dating in August.  Nine months went by and Easter of 2005 we were engaged. And November of 2005 We were married and shared our first kiss. We didn't have a conventional wedding, I walked down to the theme from the 1989 Batman movie, instead of champagne we toested with Pepsi, I got to wear white because we waited till our wedding day, and we had Shrek and Fiona on our wedding cake.  She is my soul mate. So on the extreemly off chance that he is reading this... "Thanks Paul!!"

The Siscko Dog

Here is my best friend in the whole world Siscko, Named after the captain of Star Trek Deep Space Nine (yes I am a geek an afliction that I do not excuse) My wife and I have had him for 9 months now and he has brought so much joy to myy heart.  I consider myself young at heart and that being the case I have been a boy without a dog for far to long (30 years!!!) Since the day we brought him home he has been a constant compainion then earlier this year I was hospitalized I came home and was on bed rest, due to some other non related problems I find myself in the same situation, and he is still my constant compainion.  Without him I would have probably gone insane, although I do talk to him all the time.

Country Music and "Weird" Al

Well this my first official blog I am sitting on my barco lounger, with my ipod straped to my head *well the head phones at least) Listening to a mixture of Country music and "Weird" Al, wondering what tthe heck am I doing up right now it's nearly 2 AM!!!  Well as I am home bound for a while (and have been since June) I have decided to try andd sell things on ebay it's going slow. I have had some sucsesses and some failures but I am not to be dicouraged, one way or another I am going to make this work.  One of my more recent sells was a Batarang from the collectors eddition Batman Arkahm Asylum game.  Those who know me are probably in utter shock right now I sold something from my coveted Batman collection, the batarabg in question was wooden and a man who ownd 14 real batarangs has no use for a wooden one, not that I have any use for the metal ones they just look realy cool. Well I am sure I will find my nitch here in Blogspot till then you will have to deal with my random ramblings will just call them randblings.
